Garden Presentations

An exciting new project for 2018! This year Anne Arundel County Master Gardeners are partnering with Homestead Gardens to present a series of presentations on pollinators. From Bees to Butterflies to Hummingbirds and a fabulous array of little known insects, pollinators are what make much of the world go ‘round.

Our group will be at Homestead Gardens centers in Davidsonville and Severna Park this spring and summer twice a month to educate the public. Through our presentations, we will advise them to make selections that help pollinators, promote native plants, highlight Bay-Wise best practices, and raise the MG profile in the community.  We want to make MGs the go-to people for the best horticultural information.

We are looking for others to join us, either in support work or in making presentations. Interested? For more information, contact the Project Chair, Elizabeth Matarese, elizabethmatarese@comcast.net.
