The Maryland Cooperative Extension's Agricultural Nutrient Management Program is a component of the University of Maryland's College of Agriculture and Natural Resources and focuses on reducing the pollution of the Chesapeake Bay by plant nutrients from cropland.
The Program provides nutrient planning services to Maryland farmers via a network of nutrient management advisors located in all 23 county Extension offices and provides continuing education and technical support to certified nutrient management consultants via state and regional nutrient management specialists.
