Speakers Bureau
Garden clubs, civic associations, libraries, businesses, community organizations, and non-profit organizations have a longstanding need for informative programs for their meetings and gatherings. Do you have a topic about which you and your group would like to learn more? If so, the home horticulture educator, Maxine Yoon, and Anne Arundel County Master Gardeners are available to speak on a wide-range of home-gardening topics. If you wish to schedule a talk, please contact Maxine Yoon at maxyoon@umd.edu.
The team especially welcomes “new” Master Gardeners, as their input and critiques will be critical to making the presentations successful, and as members of the project, they will learn from one another and contribute from their own gardening experience. Those with skill sets in writing, publishing, creating PowerPoint, proofreading, researching, and who have a genuine love for and curiosity about all things horticultural are invited to join in making this project fun and educational.
