- UME maintains an active web site focusing on drought and related issues.

- Over 90,000 people have learned to use, reduce, or recycle their water properly.
- Rain barrel workshops resulted in reuse of thousands of gallons of water.
- Web site has received over 45,000 hits in the past 9 months.
- Over 50 emails received each day requesting information.
- People who practice these conservation methods save 30% daily on water usage for an estimated total daily savings of 5.4 million gallons.
