Interactive Program Development (Distance Education) MCE has the ability to receive and route satellite signals through the campus cable system. Polycom videoconferencing system enables internet-based videoconferencing, as does Centra software. The Media Specialist works in close coordination with the Office of Information Technology, the Office of Public Relations, and the Library Media Specialist at UMES as well as with Maryland Cooperative Extension's Office of Information and Education Technology at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Public Relations - news releases, public service announcements, press relations, website design and maintenance, development of exhibits.
Audio-visual Support check-in, check-out, maintenance, and rental of audio-visual equipment including cameras, easels, portable sound system, and projectors.
Desktop Publishing Brochures, programs, flyers, posters, signs, etc.
Photographic Services taking pictures, cataloging and maintaining photo collection.
