Maryland 4-H Military Project


The Maryland 4-H Military Project is a statewide, outreach effort in which 4-H professionals, military staff, and volunteers are implementing 4-H curricula into existing military programs.

Military youth (ages 5-19 ) are becoming involved in 4-H through their county Extension office and local installations. 

Partnering programs provided by 4-H include:

  • Military 4-H Club Program 
  • "4-H 101" Training
  • Operation: Military Kids Program
  • Speak Out for Military Kids Program
  • Hero Pack Service-Learning Project
  • 4-H Camping Opportunities

Maryland also supports the overseas, 4-H military efforts of Europe.
