Volunteer Awards

Congratulations to Dr. Henry M. Brooks, Maryland 4-H Nominee for the National 4-H Hall of Fame AND soon to be inductee to the National 4-H Hall of Fame Class of 2018!

The Maryland 4-H Volunteer Awards are designed to recognize Certified UME 4-H Volunteers for their dedication, hard work and support of the Maryland 4-H Youth Development Program.  The nomination requirements for each award is different, focusing on either a specific quality or form of support rather than just a volunteer’s years of service.  All Certified UME 4-H Volunteers are eligible for nomination, but they may win an award only once, so please review the list of previous winners.

The 2018 volunteer award nomination process will be open from August 1-September 30, 2018.  Please visit the link below to nominate a deserving volunteer.  Winners will be recognized at the Maryland 4-H Gala in January 2019.
